Enclosed find the original invoice for a breakfront I purchased while living in Indiana and working for Sears, a job I had for 43 years. This wonderful piece of furniture has been through 6 moves over 4000 miles, and endured over 5000 earthquakes of magnitude 2.0 or more. Last big quake was 7.7 in 1987; the door came open and lots of Hoosier antiques flew 10 feet across the room, breaking quite a few.

I ordered it on 11-18-47 and it was shipped 12-12-47. This was pretty speedy delivery.
